The Tourer comes in two sizes to suit different paddlers and needs:

• 10'3" (312x81x15 cm / 10'3"x32"x6")
  Best for lighter paddlers under 80 kg, kids or teens, easier handling, and better maneuverability in tight spaces or for car-top transport.
  
• 11'3" (343x81x15 cm / 11'3"x32"x6")
  Ideal for heavier paddlers (80 kg+), long-distance touring, more storage, and improved tracking and speed.

Both boards share a wide 32" platform for family-friendly stability. Choose the size based on rider weight, storage, and whether you prioritize portability or long-distance performance.

The Tourer inflates in 8–12 minutes using the included dual-action pump. First-time setup may take 15–20 minutes as you get used to the process. The larger 11'3" model takes slightly longer than the 10'3" due to extra volume. For faster setup, especially on multi-day trips or family outings, Wave’s optional electric pump inflates a board in just 3–5 minutes.

Wave Tourer SUPs are built to last, with military-grade PVC and a reinforced drop-stitch core that offers excellent puncture resistance. With proper care, rinsing after use and storing correctly, these boards typically last 5–10+ years, and many customers use them for over a decade.

Designed for touring and family adventures, they withstand rocks, sand, UV exposure, and frequent inflation cycles. The wide 32" platform also reduces stress on seams, and a comprehensive repair kit is included, though punctures are rare.

Tourer SUPs perform best in calm, touring-friendly waters such as large lakes, gentle rivers, protected coastal bays, and canal systems. They excel in light winds (under 15 mph) and water at least 4 ft deep, handling calm to light chop with ease. The wide 32" platform provides stability for long-distance paddling, making them ideal for full-day adventures even if conditions change.
