SUP | Pro Range

The Pro is Wave’s flagship board, designed for experienced paddlers and long-distance touring. At 12'6" long and 32" wide, it offers maximum speed, superior tracking, and an advanced stability-to-speed ratio. Inflated to 20 PSI and built with military-grade PVC and reinforced rails, it delivers a performance edge over recreational models.

The package includes a carbon fiber paddle and race-style fin. Compared to other Wave boards, the Pro is faster and longer than the Cruiser (20% faster, ideal for touring) and is narrower and speed-focused compared to yoga/fitness boards, making it less suitable for beginners but perfect for skilled paddlers seeking performance.

The Pro is designed for intermediate to advanced paddlers and is not recommended for complete beginners. While it becomes very stable once proper technique is developed, beginners may find it challenging at first. For newcomers, Wave recommends starting with the Cruiser or Tourer. If a beginner wants to try the Pro, take a SUP lesson, practice in calm waters, or consider the wider Recon as a stepping stone before progressing to the Pro.

Deflation: Remove the fin and accessories first. Open the valve by pushing the pin down and holding until air stops escaping. Roll the board from the opposite end of the valve, pushing remaining air toward it, and kneel on the board during the final roll to expel all air.

Packing: Clean and dry the board completely. Fold lengthwise along the center, then roll tightly from tail to nose. Secure with the included compression straps and place the board in the backpack, storing accessories in their compartments.

Storage: Keep the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, avoiding temperatures below -10°C or above 50°C. Do not store under heavy objects. For long-term storage, inspect the board monthly to ensure it remains in good condition.

The included carbon fiber paddle is 40% lighter than aluminum, stiffer for better power transfer, and won’t corrode in saltwater. Its 8.5" x 18" blade and ergonomic T-handle provide precise control, reduce fatigue on long paddles, improve stroke “catch,” and minimize vibration, making it ideal for efficient, comfortable touring.
